JazzArts Alive Fine Arts Studio Course Description If you are looking for an exciting dance program that develops technique, is fun, and keeps you in shape, then you may be interested in our Jazz classes. We aim not only to teach and perfect steps, but also to stretch and tone muscles. Each class begins with a warmup, and from there moves on to strengthening, across-the-floor, and combination exercises. Students increase their flexibility and sharpen their technique, while mastering various Jazz dance steps. Our classes include different Jazz styles, including classical, theatrical, and hip-hop. Students must be at least six years of age. It is also recommended (though not required) that they have some basic Ballet training.
