Arts Alive Fine Arts Studio ArtCourse Description for 2007 - 2008, Instructor - Windy Lampson "Art is yet another tool that we can use to discover the beauty in God's world. Even a beginning artist can
delight in the way their own visions begin to take shape within their creations, just as I imagine God does with
all of His. In my class, I hope to teach each individual student how to use the gifts they've been given and to
enjoy their journey of progress. We will focus on line, shape, pattern, highlights/shadows, color, composition
and a general knowledge of other artists, among many other things. I plan to construct lessons using graphite
pencils, pen and ink, watercolor, acrylics, collage materials and anything else I can get my hands on. Each
lesson will have an art objective that I believe will help each individual student improve their own skills. I
will encourage students to try the planned lesson with the intended media, but if students are interested in
other areas of art, I plan to help them grow however I can."
