The Art EditionThe official newsletter of Arts Alive Fine Arts Studio November 2007 Arts Alive Students To Be In The Burlington Parade Saturday, November 17th The Holiday Parade will be Nov 17th at 10:00 am in downtown Burlington. Please sign your child in at Arts Alive at 9:00 am before the parade begins. PLEASE SIGN UP IN THE LOBBY if you would like to participate. Students will be assigned a chaperone and will walk together to the parade float site. Students six (6) years and under will ride the float, with walkers in front and dancers behind. This is an activity open to ALL ARTS ALIVE STUDENTS - and it's a great time for fun and fellowship. The dress code for the parade is the NEW Arts Alive long sleeve-T, (order forms attached or find extras in the lobby), black pants and tennis shoes. This attire represents Arts Alive with a great uniform look. Please wear warm clothing underneath if the weather is cold. The dress code is the same for the chaperones. STUDENT PICKUP: After you see your student(s) pass in the parade, then please make your way to the end of the parade route at the grassy area behind the YMCA to pick them up. Please do not wait until the end of the parade to come get your student. This prevents students from having to wait so long before being picked up. For safety purposes, do not take your child out of the parade route once it begins.
BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids - probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on! Performed by our very own Theatre department, Friday, November 30, in conjunction with the Burlington Downtown events. Three shows, starting at 5:30, 7:00 and 8:30 pm. Tickets $3.00 each. Come enjoy the show and all the downtown festivities. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 12th in the Arts Alive office.
